We are so sorry but due to the hygienic nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. However, customer satisfaction is a top priority ! If you are not satisfied with your order please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your products. Please specify your order number and a brief description of the problem and we will do our best to come up with an acceptable solution.

Why is your shipping so high?
The shipping rates you see are the EXACT rates charged by Canada Post. We do not make any extra money off of shipping. Some businesses may be able to absorb some of the cost of shipping for varying reasons: One reason is cheaper product made with cheaper ingredients. This creates a larger profit margin that will allow them to assume part of the shipping cost. At Lang & Ivy, we use only premium quality ingredients that are more expensive than lower-tiered ones. Presently our margins are so small that it is not feasible to assume part of the shipping costs.

How come shipping to the US is less than shipping within Canada?
For reasons unknown, Canada Post charges way less to ship to the US. Please know that it doesn't make any sense to us and we know that this may be unsettling news to Canadian shoppers. We will continue to make it our mission to reduce shipping costs because in reality we understand that no one really likes to pay shipping!

Allergies?
Although we use ingredients that are generally hypoallergenic, we still cannot 100 % guarantee that our products will be appropriate for your skin type. We recommend that you perform an allergy test by washing the inside of your arm & hands and applying the product to this area for a couple days. 24 to 48 hours should be ok. If irritation, redness or rash occurs, discontinue use immediately. Our products are for external use only.

What is the shelf life of your products?
Our deodorants and skincare products are 100% water free. As such they are resistant to bacterial growth and thus are very stable . Our products will last at least 18 months and even longer!

My body butter has melted. What should I do?
Our body butters, hand creams and deodorants contain only natural ingredients. Thus, they will soften or melt if subjected to elevated temperatures ( e.g. hot car). Don't worry if this happens. The product is just as healthy and good for you since the ingredients are also stable in liquid form!
Simply place the jar or tin in the refrigerator and allow to cool!
